MobileAdmin is a set of tools for the monitoring and control of servers and applications specially designed for operating through mobile devices (Mobile phones, Smartphones, PDA, etc.). MobileAdmin has a clients both for mobile devices and for a desktop PC, providing reliable and protected data exchange between client and server. For messaging to clients, MobileAdmin server supports a set of interfaces with several network services as GPRS, SMS, ICQ, Email and Windows Messenger.
MobileAdmin's purpose is the monitoring of servers and server applications. For this purpose, MobileAdmin includes a set of tasks for checking the general state of the system, the availability of network services and the operative condition of particular applications. These tasks can generate reports on state change of inspected objects, errors in operation and other important system events.
In addition to the usual monitoring, the MobileAdmin has an advanced command interface especially focused on the use of short messages.
